As a native of Old Quebec, a World Heritage city, the beauty of my surroundings has influenced me throughout my life. After in depth studies of oils with professors of local and international renown, I also benefited from visits to numerous museums in Europe and North America to complement my institutional and professional apprenticeship with painting.  

I have mastered several pictorial techniques yet, my preferred medium is printers’ ink. Its unctuous, luminous, sensual qualities fascinate me and enhance my explorations of colour, light and shadows. My preferred inks come from Hostmann-Steinberg's  www.hostmann-steinberg.net  a company member of the German Huber Group, dedicated on high standards for quality as one of the industry's leading manufacturers since 1765 and present in more than 100 countries.
